LAURA DONNELLY BEST ACTRESS TONY AWARD NOMINATION FOR 'THE FERRYMAN'

‘The Ferryman’ was up for nine awards at this year’s 2019 Tonys, with Laura Donnelly nominated for Best Actress. This followed on from her recent Olivier win for the same role in London’s West End.

Vogue (British):

"The Tony Awards are all about performances and as Caitlin Carney in The Ferryman, Laura Donnelly delivered one of the year’s most compelling. Nominated for best actress, Donnelly delved into the political and social implications of the Northern Ireland conflict of the late 20th century”.

The Huffington Post:

"As the star of “The Ferryman,” Laura Donnelly delivers one of the Broadway season's most buzzed-about performances”

Although Laura didn’t win the Tony, ‘The Ferryman' went on to win the 2019 Tony for Best Play.
